This was a wonderful restaurant to visit during my short stay in Macon. The food was fantastic! Had the #4 the first time and then the #8. The mac & cheese bites, as well as the fried okra, were delightful! Loved the strawberry cake too!! Would definitely eat here again if ever back in the area.

I came to Macon on a business trip and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I found JJ Fish and Chicken and I was really impressed! They have a lot of different choices. I had the small tender meal and it was far, far from small! The container barely closed because it was so full! I got 4 large chicken tenders, a pile of fries and a couple slices of bread. It was enough for 2 people to eat! The tenders are huge, crispy, and super tender. The fries are hot and crispy. They sprinkled some sort of flavor on everything and it gave it a little something extra. They also had a dessert case with several delicious looking varieties of cake, but I was too full to try one! My meal was delicious and if I lived in Macon, I would eat here every week!!
I’m from Chicago and this defly tastes just like JJ Fish back home! They didn’t disappoint, they had the lemon pepper and mild sauce! I was in Heaven I will defly be back ...
This JJ Fish & Chicken is on 66 Spring Street Macon, GA 31201. I had to make a review on this place. I have been here 3 times and each time I went, I got Fish dinners. Each time my food was fresh and hot. My fries were even fresh and hot. Not like the ones at most restaurants when you ask for hot fries, they stick old cooked fries in the microwave. But not here. Everything is DELICIOUS that I order. Today, I got the 5 piece Trout dinner. The last two times I came, I got the 2 piece Ocean Perch. The service is great as well also the prices are reasonable. I will continue to come here.
